In 2005, he relocated to Johannesburg, and it was then that he stumbled upon the books and CDs of Dr. David Oyedepo. This material stirred up a thirst for self-actualisation and inspired him to further his education.
In 2012 he came back to his hometown after securing a position as an Investment Analyst in the Wealth division of one of the major banks in South Africa. It was then that he met with Percy Mudzusi as a colleague and a kindred spirit quickly developed between the two of them.

As an Investment banker, he became exposed to the financial elite of South African society, not only was he privy to their investment portfolios but he was also exposed to their behavioural patterns around money.
This led him to sit down with his now former colleague and to come up with a book that could be used by “the ordinary man on the street” to change their financial destiny.

After completing his matric, he enrolled to study Law with the University of The Free State and thereafter studied financial planning. He was later employed by one of the biggest law firms in the Free State, where he worked as an Insolvency Practitioner and an Estate late Administrator. That’s where he experienced first-hand what financial misfortunes were; what it meant to die poor and the hardship it caused for those left behind. 

In order to gain first hand insight into the inner workings of banking institutions, he proceeded to work for one of the biggest banks in South Africa and in the process, was then exposed to the lifestyles of the wealthy and how they handled their wealth. He was also exposed to the reasons why people were dying poor and why so many were being liquidated. He realised that most people did not understand their personal finance and how the financial world operates. This is where his love of financial planning was enhanced.
In 2013, he opened his own financial services company and combined the skills he honed from different sectors over the years and Alpha Centaury Advisory services was born.
